That’s why Preferred Proeprties offers optional CSA Vacation Rental Insurance, sometimes referred to as cancellation insurance. We highly recomend purchasing this travel protection as it provides a significant level of coverage when unexpeted circumstances threaten your Key West – FLA Keys, getaway.

CSA (Vacation -Travel Insurance) takes care of you before during and after your vacation. Our travel insurance plans cover you door to door – from the day after you buy your policy until you return home. All plans include CSA’s renowened 24-Hour Emergency Assistance Service for worldwide help whenever and wherever needed.

This travel protection plan protects your deposit and any monies paid in the event you are unable to take your vacation.  Covered events include cancellation due to sickness, injury, layoff, termination of previously granted military leave and adverse weather, including hurricanes. Other benefits include pre-existing medical conditions, identify theft and travel delays.

You have ten(10 days) to decline the CSA Vacation Rental Insurance, however Preferred Properties would need a $3000.00 check 60 days prior to arrival that will be deposited and refunded within 15 days of the end of your reservation.

As a Guest( The person registered all all persons occupying the same rental unit) you are entitled to a Peace of Mind Protection Plan while staying at a Preferred Properties Vacation Property. Subject to terms and conditions apply. The maximum the plan will cover is $3000.00 per stay.

The plan will not include liablity for damage or theft resulting from:

  1. Acts of God
  2. Intentional acts of a guest
  3. Gross negligence or willfull and wanton conduct
  4. Any cause, if the Covered Guest does not report the damage to Preferred Properties staff.
  5. Normal wear and tear
  6. Theft without a police report
  7. Damages cuased by any pet or animal brought onto the premsises.
  8. The plan applies only to the direct physical loss or damage to covered proeprty. It does not cover the loss of use of such property.
  9. Coverage does not apply for theft or damage of any property owned by or brought onto the premises by a covered guest.
